Shawnee The Vacuum Cleaner

Shawnee and her sister Sasquatch were rescued when they were puppies by their owner Jackie. Shawnee's name was inspired by Jackie and her family moving to Oklahoma. Shawnee is protective, but very loving and cuddly. She is very playful and has many "babies" AKA stuffed animals.

Dr. Roach has been seeing Shawnee since 2018. Shawnee has been seen for a variety of things, but most notably been seen for intestinal blockage and foreign body ingestion. Jackie explained that Shawnee loves to eat things that she shouldn't, such as pieces of wood and toys. Shawnee has had two successful foreign body removal surgeries with us. Today she is doing great. Jackie has to keep an extra close eye on Shawnee "The Vaccum Cleaner" to make sure she doesn't eat something she shouldn't. Shawnee is a joy to have in the clinic and is great to work with!
