Diagnostics

Could an undetected illness or injury be plaguing your pet?

Krystal

When humans feel sick or get hurt, they go to the doctor, explain their symptoms, and receive the appropriate care. With pets, however, things aren’t always as straightforward. Because animals can’t speak, they can’t tell us when something bothers them. What’s more, many animals can disguise the signs of illness, allowing it to develop and worsen. Veterinary diagnostics let us identify and treat health problems promptly. Faster diagnosis of illness and injury can vastly improve the chances of a positive outcome.

Laboratory

Holistic Pet Care Center’s on-site laboratory makes it quick and efficient to run a wide variety of diagnostic tests. In many cases, we can have the answers we need in just minutes. This means we can have a treatment plan in place before you and your pet even leave the exam room.

Imaging

Carlee Xray

When a physical exam and lab testing aren’t enough to reach a diagnosis, we turn to advanced imaging technology, such as X-rays and ultrasound. These tools allow us to examine the bones and internal organs, identify injuries, diagnose illnesses, and determine their severity. Images can be evaluated by our doctors in real-time or shared electronically with specialists if necessary.

If your pet has been acting a bit out of sorts lately, don’t take chances. Give us a call right away. We’ll get to the bottom of the problem and get your four-legged friend back on the path to good health again.
