From Limping to Running

This week we wanted to highlight a fun girl named Trixie!

Trixie is an active German Shepherd who is full of energy and loves to play. Trixie was rescued from an animal shelter in Dallas. The day Trixie was adopted was the day that she was scheduled to be euthanized. The shelter Trixie was from had to euthanize animals that had been in the shelter for a certain amount of time.

Recently, Trixie oddly started dragging her right rear leg. Trixie was taken to another clinic and given X-rays. The X-rays showed no sign of any issues. Trixie's owner, Martina, decided it was time to take Trixie to Dr. Roach. Dr. Roach prescribed a variety of Chinese herbs and natural supplements. Trixie was also given acupuncture. After only a few weeks of treatment, Trixie ran into our clinic straight into her favorite exam room. Martina said that Trixie is back to her active self again.
