From Hip Dysplasia to Dock Diving

This week we want to highlight a dog who has made a big splash. Lexi is an athletic Australian Shepherd with an awesome recovery story. Dr. Roach’s treatments have helped keep Lexi feeling her best, so she can do what she loves most: Dock dive! Lexi’s owner claims that you wouldn’t ever guess she has hip dysplasia.

According to Lexi’s owner Alyssa, “I brought Lexi to Dr. Roach hoping for some other insights on keeping her as pain-free as possible, because she is a very active dog, and this summer was our first season to compete in dock diving. She absolutely loves the sport, and with Dr. Roach's help I do not think she will have to retire anytime soon from it!”

Lexi ended her 2023 season with a personal best of 17 feet 3 inches doing the distance jump! We love a happy recovery story, and we are so thankful to get to work with wonderful pets like Lexi.
