A Heart For Adventure

Abbi is a ten-year-old Bull Terrier Mix who has an exciting rescue story and has had an inspiring recovery.

When Abbi was only 4 months old she was found roaming the streets of Mesa Arizona. Abbi’s current owner, Janna fell in love with her and wanted to adopt her as soon as possible. Apparently, Janna wasn’t the only one who was interested in Abbi. Janna’s name was put into a hat with several other potential adopters and a drawing was held for Abbi’s adoption. After much anticipation, Janna found out she had won the drawing and Abbi was able to go to her forever home.

Abbi has always been an active dog, she loved hiking with her other owner, Kody. However, in later years she has struggled with multi-joint arthritis. She had struggled with her elbows being frozen and having very limited motion in her shoulders. Thankfully after receiving prolotherapy, acupuncture, and other treatments from Dr. Roach, Abbi was able to get back on her feet. Abbi is back to hiking and jogging with her owners, and is feeling much like her old self again!
