Dr. Marshall has loved working with animals since she was a child. In high school, she fell in love with learning about anatomy and physiology. She started exploring veterinary medicine as a career option to combine both passions and found it to be a great fit.

She worked at a small animal clinic for 8 years as a veterinary assistant through high school and her undergraduate degree. She briefly worked at an emergency clinic and an equine clinic before she started at Holistic Pet Care Center in 2019. She started working part-time at Holistic Pet Care Center when she was working on her bachelor's degree. She continued working part-time through veterinary school in the hopes of learning as much from Dr. Roach as possible.

She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences. She then started veterinary school at Oklahoma State University and graduated in May of 2024.
