Meet Ava, she has loved and cared for animals since she was a child. She grew up with many family-owned dogs and cats. Since elementary school she has loved math and science. For her, pursuing veterinary medicine made the most sense and she found a passion for it when exploring the career.

In early 2024, she graduated from Moore Norman Technology Center’s veterinary assistant program. Ever since she has been working as a veterinary assistant while pursuing her undergraduate degree. After getting her bachelor's degree, she wants to attend veterinary school.

In her free time Ava enjoys reading, baking, painting, and spending time with her two dogs, Tesla and Java. Even though they are both senior dogs they still love going on walks, meeting new people, and showing their sassy attitudes by back talking!
