Our Approach to Nutrition
At Holistic Pet Care Center, we place great emphasis on the importance of excellent nutrition. We recognize that modern medicine procedures can be helpful in managing certain disease processes, but we also recognize that nutrition is the foundation of quality pet care. Nutrition not only serves to prevent diseases, but also to cure certain disease processes, help to enhance the body’s responses to medications, reduce the adverse effects of some medications, and speed healing time after surgeries.

Nutrtion Bloodwork
Our Nutrition Bloodwork checks for the following levels:

Omega 3- Proper omega levels lower blood pressure, reduces triglycerides in the blood, helps reduce joint inflammation in rheumatoid disease, helps nourish brain and eyes functions, helps prevent and alleviate dementia, depression, asthma, migraine, and diabetes, and helps reduce the risk and preventing heart disease and ischemic stroke.
Vitamin D- Proper vitmanin D levels help regulate calcium and phosphate levels in the body, and is important for bone health.
Vitamin B12- is vital for the nervous system and blood production.
Magnesium- is important for many processes in the body, including regulating muscle and nerve function, blood sugar levels, and blood pressure and making protein, bone, and DNA.
Folate (vitamin B-9)- is important in red blood cell formation and for healthy cell growth and function.
