Could your pet benefit from natural pain relief?

Acupuncture is a highly effective, all-natural tool for helping animals enjoy more comfortable lives. Best of all, there’s no risk of harmful side effects that pharmaceuticals can sometimes cause. This makes it particularly favorable for elderly pets or those who are unable to tolerate medication.

Holistic Pet Care Center is pleased to include veterinary acupuncture as part of our extensive integrative therapy options.

What is veterinary acupuncture?

Acupuncture operates under the theory that when the body’s natural energy source becomes disrupted, sickness and pain can result. To address this without medication, special acupuncture needles are carefully and gently inserted into specific points along the body. This causes a cellular response in the targeted area, restoring the body’s energy, promoting healing and reducing pain.

The results of acupuncture can often be seen after only a few sessions. Every pet is different, however. The specific condition, its severity, and several other unique factors will help our doctors determine how many treatments are recommended. Once your pet has been evaluated, we’ll provide you with an individualized treatment plan that’s specific to your pet.

If your pet is struggling with pain or mobility issues or could simply use a little more balance, acupuncture could be the ideal solution. Contact Holistic Pet Care Center today to learn more or schedule a consultation.
