Sarah's Story 

Growing up, Sarah always loved taking care of her family pets. One day, in middle school, Sarah's parents took her to an open house at the OSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Stillwater. That experience inspired her to work with animals. Sarah became a kennel tech her senior year in high school. While attending OSU-OKC, she worked as a zoo keeper at Little River Zoo in Norman.
 

Sarah later worked as a guest services team member at OKC Zoo where she gave zoo tours on the trams and worked in the Lorikeet experience. Sarah received her Associate degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from OSU-OKC in 2009. Sarah has worked in a high-volume spay and neuter clinic as well as other clinics in the OKC area. Sarah joined Holistic Pet Care Center and Best Friends Animal Clinic in August of 2013.
 

Sarah has a cat named Biscuits, a mixed-breed dog named Ella, and an AKC Champion Titled Miniature American Shepherd Named Fancy. Sarah also has a toy Australian shepherd named Mollie, (as seen in her staff photo). Mollie is 12 years old and is a certified therapy dog.
 

Sarah shared, "My years with Best Friends and Holistic Pet Care have been the absolute best of my career! I have made close connections with many of our clients over the years and I cherish each one of them. I am truly thankful to work with such an AMAZING team and really do have the greatest boss!" We are so thankful for such a fantastic operations manager.
